Stivers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is the premier Jeep dealership serving Montgomery Birmingham Auburn Prattville and the surrounding areas, and our team is thrilled to announce that we have the 2023 Grand Wagoneer. The most notable update is the introduction of the L option, which extends the wheelbase by 7 inches and gives you even more dedicated cargo space without compromising legroom. The other notable change is the introduction of the new Hurricane engine. It comes standard with the most configurations and can be added to the standard base model as an option. The five available trim levels are the Grand Wagoneer, Series II, Obsidian, Series III and Series III Obsidian.
The default minimum ground clearance across the board for the 2023 Grand Wagoneer is 10.0 inches. The standard model has a 123.0-inch wheelbase and a 214.7-inch length—almost 18 feet. Options include 22-inch wheels and adjustable roof rails crossbars, and the Obsidian trim levels have a special appearance package with dark accents.
The standard interior setup for the 2023 Grand Wagoneer near Montgomery is seating for seven in a 2-2-3 configuration. You also have the option of a Flexible Seating package that replaces the second-row captain’s chairs with a power-adjustable 40/20/40-split reclining bench and thus increase seating capacity to eight. Front, middle and rear legroom in both cases is 40.9, 42.7 and 36.6 inches, respectively. Dedicated cargo space is 27.4 cubic feet, and if you opt for the L, that area is increased to an impressive 44.2 cubic feet. The base interior is upscale with features like premium leather upholstery, four-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof and 19-speaker McIntosh audio. Reasons to move up trim levels include second-row seat ventilation, a front-row cooling box and more speakers.
Standard features for the 2023 Grand Wagoneer near Montgomery include push-button ignition fob-based remote start and keyless open and lock, a 115-volt household-style power outlet and an adaptive air suspension that allows you to adjust ride height. Max towing with the standard hitch is around 6,000 pounds. But Jeep has improved max towing to a best-in-class 10,000 pounds, and if you want that added capability, you can add it via the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow package.
All 2023 Grand Wagoneer models available through Stivers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram are four-wheel drive and have an eight-speed automatic transmission. There are two engines available. The new one is a turbocharged inline six-cylinder—dubbed the Hurricane—that makes 510 hp and 500 lb.-ft. With the standard-wheelbase Grand Wagoneer and Obsidian, the V8 is standard and the Hurricane is optional. With all other models, the Hurricane is standard.
A 12.3-inch infotainment touch screen with an advanced feature set is standard. Most driver-assistance technologies are standard as well, including adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, an automated parking system, a head-up display and keeping assist.
