The 2023 Ram 3500 is now available to our Auburn area customers at Stivers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, and we offer it in five trim levels. The Tradesman is the most affordable option and configured as a work truck. The Big Horn is similar but with upgrades aimed at the typical non-fleet customer, such as cloth seating. This trim is also a good base for customers who plan to tow a trailer as this is the point when the integrated trailer brake controller and power-adjustable tow mirrors become standard. The Laramie has all the amenities and technologies you expect in a vehicle for personal use. The Limited Longhorn adds even more luxuries, and the top-spec Limited boasts a number of high-end exclusives.
Stivers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram offers two bed configurations for the 2023 Ram 3500: a standard bed that measures 6 feet 4 inches and a long bed that measures 8 feet. The regular cab has two doors and comes with the long bed. Both crew cabs have four full-size doors. The smaller crew cab gives you the choice of bed lengths, and the Mega Cab is offered exclusively with the standard bed. The Tradesman has 18-inch steel wheels. The wheels are upgraded to alloy with the Big Horn and beyond, and 20-inch wheels are optional with the Laramie and Longhorn and standard with the Limited.
There are three cabs available for the Auburn area 2023 Ram 3500: a regular cab, crew cab and a larger crew cab called the Mega Cab. Three- and two-passenger configurations are available for the regular cab, and the crew cabs offer six- and five-passenger configurations. The front row is the same in all cabs offering about 40 inches of headroom and 41 inches of legroom. If you want an extended cab, then the choice comes down whether 40 inches of second-row legroom is enough or you prefer 43 inches, which can make a big difference if you’re often riding with adults in the rear seats.
A Class V hitch and basic cruise control are standard equipment for the Auburn area 2023 Ram 3500. A gooseneck/fifth-wheel prep group is optional. A trailer brake controller is optional with the base trim and included standard beyond it. You also have the option of a towing technologies package. Some equipment from that package becomes standard as you move up the trim levels. A digital rearview mirror with a tow mode is optional with the Longhorn and Limited.
The standard powertrain pairs an eight-speed automatic transmission with a 6.4L gas V8: 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. Auburn area customers also have the option of a turbocharged 6.7L diesel V6: 370 hp and 850 lb.-ft. It’s also available in a high-output configuration: 420 hp and 1,075 lb.-ft. Max towing is 37,090 pounds. Max payload 7,680 pounds.
A 5-inch infotainment touch screen is standard with the Auburn area 2023 Ram 3500. It is upgraded to an 8.4-inch screen with the Laramie. At that point, you also have the option of a 12.3-inch touch screen, which becomes standard with the top trim. Optional safety features include rear parking sensors, a surround-view camera system, adaptive cruise control and forward collision mitigation.
